One of my favorite scenes from Collateral it's when we see the taxi cab driving through nightime Los Angeles and in the background they play a piece of this song. Michael Mann's Collateral focuses on the age-old struggle between Realism (i.e. Vincent's character) and Idealism (i.e. Max's character). In fact, the themes that Max Stirner (18th century German Anarchist Philosopher) demonstrates in his book The Ego and Its Own is also demonstrated by the actions Vincent and Max endure. But this is just a collateral opinion. Let's focus on the music instead!
